Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing art which regulates our health, relieves pain, rebalances the flow of internal energy and improves our physical and mental well-being. Acupressure deals with the cause of an issue, rather than the symptoms. It aids the body in its own healing process. Acupressure and Acupuncture utilize the same pressure points and meridians, the difference is that Acupuncture uses needles, while Acupressure uses pressure through the thumbs, palms, or elbows and integrates many other therapies. Allow time to relax and reflect. This is a simple form of Shamanism, similar to Reiki. It is a transforming experience, a journey deep into yourself. It purifies the system and includes Craniosacral Therapy and Chakra Balance. Craniosacral Therapy palpates the cerebrospinal fluid to detect restriction and through manual technique, releases it. The use of crystals, tuning forks, gemstones and Tibetan metal bowls may be used in this therapy. Please note that it is best received before 11 a.m. and after 3 p.m.

A wonderful winter treatment! Start off on the floor with a few Thai Yoga Massage stretches and then melt away tension with the soothing heat therapy of the basalt (lava) stone. Heat may penetrate up to 1.5 inches into the superficial muscle layer. Essential oil will be dropped along the spine and onto marma points to heighten your enjoyment of the invigorating aroma. Oils have the ability to boost the immune system, aid in digestion and penetrate into cells where they assist with the release of toxins. Energy healing modalities such as craniosacral therapy and Reiki will be utilized throughout the session.

› Shirodhara Therapy ‹
Shirodhara is a profound mind-melting, sacred treatment using medicinal Ayurvedic oils that sometimes starts and ends with marma therapy and massage. Shirodhara is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘the flowing of oil like a thread on the head’. This treatment allows warm oil to flow in a steady stream on the third eye located on the forehead and over the top of the head. There are many benefits to this Ayurvedic treatment such as elimination of head and neck disorders, stress reduction, relief from insomnia, fatigue, anger, rheumatism, hypertension, anxiety, headaches, asthma, and hair problems. › Hydro Thermo Massage Tub with Chromotherapy ‹
Experience the positive effects of our six-foot, fifty-jet therapeutic tub. We’ve combined the curative power of Hydrotherapy, Thermotherapy, Massage Therapy, Phytotherapy and Chromotherapy into one experience. The heated air injected into the water stimulates the bather’s epidermis to provide a mini workout for the skin, similar to an acupressure treatment. The epidermal workout actively cleans the pores and massages the nerves, capillaries and the lymphatic system, to facilitate relaxation of the peripheral nervous system. After approximately 20 minutes, the body relaxes, heat penetrates the open pores, and liquefies fat and sebum. This releases free radicals and micro waste toxins which are carried by the lymphatic and circulatory systems to the pores. The skin, now cleansed, is ready through osmosis to absorb active substances and nutrients provided by the water. As the therapy continues, it speeds up the internal body process, increasing energy, loosening tense muscles, eliminating cramps, soothing the nervous system, enhancing the immune and lymphatic system and relaxing the mind and body. Steam is also helpful to cleanse the sinuses and alleviate the symptoms of asthma.
