Yoga Teacher and Ancient Therapist
Since the age of 12 I have been training and devoted this life to the kingdom of self and all the threads of knowledge that weave through the mystical web of enlightenment. I hope to inspire people of all avenues and ages and look forward to assisting anyone and everyone towards the simplicity of choosing. Each day I am living in full potential, offering yoga classes and ancient therapies. I strive to provide quality care to enhance the health of the individual on all levels in a healing and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on awareness.
In 1994, Kung Fu Instructor Jeff Brinker encouraged me to start leading the warm ups. This was quite frightening as a young teenager in an adult class, but as time passed my confidence grew. In 1995 I began teaching the Kids Kung Fu program, and as my experience in Kung Fu grew, so did the teaching, soon teaching technique, weapons and sparring, and assisting in grading black belts I will always be grateful towards the art of Kung Fu, as I feel it has built a very strong foundation for Yoga and body work. At the age of 14 the daily Yoga practice began. The roots were planted deeply, and I still practice daily, alone.
With the encouragement of my mom and the thought I was just cross training for Kung Fu, the natural result of the practice came quickly, and was not expected. Through this, just me and my mat, the magic of yoga blossomed. At the age of 18 I started to take formal yoga classes and workshops in Fernie, BC. Change was in the air, and culinary arts took me to Disney World in Florida at the Grand Floridian Hotel and Spa. This lead me to my teacher, Yogi Baba Prem. His devotion still inspires me. Everyday I thank him for his patience and his ability to transmit ancient knowledge. I feel blessed to have such a great teacher.
Thank you to my unique ancestors whom were amazing well known healers, to every person whom has graced my life with their presence, bringing many lessons, and to all my teachers whom have dedicated themselves to sharing. And especially to my beautiful mom, whom started me on this path while I was in her womb.
